Most of the people didn't hear about jot,but jot is such a most beautiful,cold weather, peaceful and very calm place .

Jot is very good spot for solo travelers or someone looking for spend a romantic weekend with someone special.

Jot is  a small place that there are such a few hotels and restaurants.but i think,in future jot is grow as a very famous tourist destination.

 

Jot is located at height of 2880m above the sea level and about 23 km away from the chamba town. Jot is full of wonders when you are at the top of the Cliff of mountains it looks like the heaven and looks more beautiful. Jot is such a place which binds you to it.

There is also a pond on the top of the hill which is such a rare scene to view.conclusion is that jot is even though not a famous tourist place but it is very beautiful and charming place and i think this place has all the thing that make it a famous tourist destination in future and the nearby villages's people get occupation and profession.

How and when to reach jot.

The weather of jot is very cool and calm all over the year. But th time to go jot is the time period of March to October.

In winter the road are covered with snow and sometimes roads are closed due to heavy snowfall.you can go the also in winter with full prepration.

Jot is located at jot pass which connects it to chamba and o.n other side at NH 28. Jot is connected all over by road and it is 23 km away from chamba.

Hrtc buses and private cab service are also available to jot from every major cities. You can reach here by all major cities such as Pathankot, Dharmshala,punjab etc. The nearest airport are Dharamshala (105km away from jot) and pathankot airport (130km away from jot) . The nearest Railway station is Pathankot cantt.
