Baraut is famous for what ?

Baraut is a beautiful and moderate developed city held ancient record of Mahabharata time. Baraut city is the third largest wheat producer after Punjab and Haryana and the number one largest producer of sugarcane.

There are so many sugar Mills near the Baraut City . This area is also a very good producer of bricks because there are around 50 to 80 bricks factory, in local language they are known as "eet Bhatta". This are is also a good producer of jaggery (gud).

* Panchwati mandir

Panchwati mandir it is very famous and ancient temple in Baraut city. this temple is a model on ancient architecture. this temple is dedicated to lord Krishna and Lord Ram.

Panchwati had a very religious significance in Hindus. This temple is beautifully maintained by temple organization.

* P.N Sharma park

This park is located at Delhi-Saharanpur state Highway. it is very beautiful,decorated and managed park. this park is dedicated to all those brave soldiers of the city and nearby area who had died for the nation.

There is a thick stone sheet on which the name of those brave soldiers are written.there is a very big pole on which our national flag "Tiranga" is weaving in Attitude.

*Bada jain mandir

This temple is very famous jainism temple in all over the Uttar pradesh. This temple is at the middle of Baraut city in Main Market.

This beautiful temple is very decorative and beautifully maintained by jain samaj.

*Imusica cinema

* Lakshagreh, Barnawa

Lakshagreh in Barnawa is 15 km away from Baraut City. this place had archaelogical and religious factor because of its relation to Mahabharat time. this place is an archaeological site there are many archaelogical evidence found which relate it to Mahabharat. There is an underground tunnel of Mahabharata time which is still there.there are one story related to this tunnel in lakshagreh that "in Mahabharata time when kauravas bring fire in the palace of Pandavas then Pandavas go through this tunnel from their palace to lakshagrah and then they go forward from there.

* Gufa wale Baba,Mandir

This beautiful and devotional temple held a very high religious factor between the people of the area of Baraut City and nearby.

On every major Hindu festivals like Holi,Diwali, Mahashivratri, janamashtami etc. there are crowd of devotees and this crowd is as much dense as there are no way to take a step away. Even on every Sunday there are very crowd of devotees.
